About the Author
PD Singer lives in Colorado with her slightly bemused husband, two rowdy teenage boys, and thirty pounds of cats. She's a big believer in research, first-hand if possible, so the reader can be quite certain PD has skied down a mountain face-first, been stepped on by rodeo horses, acquired a potato burn or two, and will never, ever, write a novel that includes sky-diving. When not writing, playing her fiddle, or skiing, she can be found with a book in hand. Her husband blesses the advent of ebooks -- they're staving off the day the house collapses from the weight of the printed page.

Senior year of college is for studying, partying, and having fun before getting serious about life. Instead, Chad’s days are filled with headaches and exhaustion, and his fencing skills are getting worse with practice, not better.

A New Man

I really struggled to get into this book when I first started reading, I think the problem was with me and not the book itself. Its very complex at times and I struggled to grasp some parts. Once I did get into the story I found it very interesting.

Warren and Chad are room mates. Warren is an out and proud grad student. Chad has suffered with blinding headaches for many years. He has become over weight even though everything he eats or drinks is healthy. His fencing is suffering because he is tired all the time and is getting double vision.

A little experiment in the lab detects Chad has a serious medical illness. For Chad sake him and Warren are married before Chad’s surgery. I thought the author did an amazing job with this sensitive storyline, I could even understand the medical terms used.
The two have a rough few months while Chad adjusts to the new him and Warren has a tough time learning all about his husband and worrying he will be left alone.

This is my first book by this author, I will be reading much more.
Overall a great book, with a lot going on to keep the story flowing.
