There are so many things I could talk about when it comes to Three Wishes.
I started the series because I love the idea of granting wishes. I also love the idea of be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. What happens when you are given exactly what you asked for and it’s so much more than you thought it would be? Or not at all like what you thought it would be?
I also enjoy the format of writing three different fantasies, of being able to explore with couples in all phases of their lives. Some of the couples meet for the first time on Rainbow Island. Others are long term lovers. One pair in this set of tales are lovers back home but neither man is expecting for his lover to be the man who is at the island. Luckily, the guys who run the island know what they’re doing and everyone comes out with their happily ever after.
Speaking of the guys who run the island – they were a surprise too! I didn’t expect for them to have a whole backstory to themselves, but they do. They showed up with a history, with a ton of baggage and with a need for a happy ending themselves (never fear, a third book in the series is planned so that we can follow them further.)
I could talk more in depth about all of that, but I wanted to talk about the reason for the reader advisory at the end of the blurb for the book. Kink. One of the great things about the set-up of the three different wishes being granted in each book is that I get to write about three different kinks in each of the books. And because it’s all set up to be safe, sane and consensual, they can be pretty extreme kinks.
In this book, there’s fisting, enemas, medical play, knife play, and body mods. There’s an entire fantasy about medical fetishes and another about body mods. I love the psychology of it. Why the sub wants these things, why the Dom enjoys dishing it out. I enjoy exploring the way the subs need and the way the Doms care. I adore how what they do is an expression of their love for each other.
So yeah, bring on the reader advisories. It may be just me, but those are the kinds of things that make me want to read the book all the more!
smut fixes everything
Come to Rainbow Island, where all your sexual fantasies will come true.
In Three Wishes, James, Guard and Damien bring in three different couples for their special fantasy-granting services. Handsome model Benji is tired of being perfect, and he wants to make his body his own. Thor, tattoo artist and piercer, as well as Dom, is just the man to do it. Will Benji find what he’s looking for?
Meanwhile, Alan and Roman are a long-time sub/Dom couple looking to have a few outside Masters give Alan all the things that Roman can’t. Will their relationship survive Alan’s strong reaction to one of the Masters?
The last couple to visit the island are Quinn and Pierce. Quinn has medical fetishes he’s embarrassed to tell his lover Pierce about even though Pierce is a doctor. So he’s going to get it out of his system in this safe environment. At least that’s the plan…
Don’t miss out on these fantasies come true.
Reader Advisory: This book contains a scene of fisting and an enema administration and intimate medical examinations in a scene. There are also scenes of knifeplay and body modification and a reference to breathplay.

Meet Sean Michael
Best-selling author Sean Michael is a maple leaf–loving Canadian who spends hours hiding out in used book stores. With far more ideas than time, Sean keeps several documents open at all times. From romance to fantasy, paranormal and sci-fi, Sean is limited only by the need for sleep—and the periodic Beaver Tail.
Sean fantasizes about one day retiring on a secluded island populated entirely by horseshoe crabs after inventing a brain-to-computer dictation system. Until then, Sean will continue to write the old-fashioned way.
